Vaccination and testing schedule for Aug. 23-29: The Florida Department of Health in Flagler County is moving its Covid-19 testing operations to the Flagler County Fairgrounds, 150 Sawgrass Rd. in Bunnell. The site will be open weekdays between 8 a.m. and 12 noon to accommodate testing for:
- Flagler County school district students, faculty and school staff. No appointments are necessary.
- The general public (those not employed by or attending local schools) by appointment only. Reservations can be made by calling 386-437-7350 ext. 0.
Several factors influenced the decision for earlier testing hours and the return to Cattleman’s Hall, including afternoon heat, increased demand for testing and adjustments requested by the department’s case investigation and contact tracing team. Note: On Friday, Aug. 27, testing and vaccination will be at 301 Dr. Carter Blvd. from 8 a.m. to noon because of a previously scheduled event at the Fairgrounds. As a reminder, the health department does not offer testing for travel verification. Vaccinations will continue to be offered at the main health department location, 301 Dr. Carter Blvd. in Bunnell. The Pfizer clinic will be open three afternoons a week — Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. for the rest of August, and into September. Appointments are preferred; Walk-ins are welcome.

“Since so many people have disputed so many truths for so many centuries, societies resolved the need for a system to decide the facts on which the truth may be decided by establishing court systems. The Western European ideal in general and the English Common Law in particular, and the American experiment based on English Common Law, use judges and juries as fact-finders, and judges to impose judgments based on those found-facts. Once accomplished, the facts become final and the truth may be based on those facts. Until a court somewhere finds the 2020 presidential election to have been based on enough stolen votes to change the outcome, based on legally admissible evidence, there is no “Stop the Steal”, only allegations of “Stop the Steal.” Thus far, it seems that the number of Republicans accused of attempting to vote twice, or attempting to submit votes for dead people, or attempting to subvert voting rules far outnumber Democrats accused of the same actions.”

Nothing on the J&J Booster ? https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/booster-shot.html
Will people who received Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen (J&J/Janssen) COVID-19 Vaccine need a booster shot?
It is likely that people who received a J&J COVID-19 vaccine will need a booster dose. Because the J&J/Janssen vaccine wasn’t given in the United States until 70 days after the first mRNA vaccine doses (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna), the data needed to make this decision aren’t available yet. These data are expected in the coming weeks. With those data in hand, CDC will keep the public informed with a timely plan for J&J/Janssen booster shots.
Can people who received Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen (J&J/Janssen) COVID-19 Vaccine get a booster dose of an mRNA vaccine?
No, there aren’t enough data currently to support getting an mRNA vaccine dose (either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) if someone has gotten a J&J/Janssen vaccine. People who got the J&J/Janssen vaccine will likely need a booster dose, and more data are expected in the coming weeks. With those data in hand, CDC will keep the public informed with a timely plan for J&J/Janssen booster shots.
These FAQ’s are really what bothers me about the vaccines. They tell you you can’t get Covid from any of them, yet should it matter if one mixes & matches the vaccines they’ve taken ? J&J vaccine should relatively immunize for what it was designed for, what was known at the time, a booster for Delta variants regardless of Brand should be relative immunization for just Delta variants if you already have been vaccinated for pre-Delta variants. And if they just added Delta variants to the cocktail, you’re getting a cumulative vaccine as a booster. I mean they could do that as well in the Pfizer & Moderna vaccines to get those that never vaccinated cunulatively caught up ? But that would be where we just have to “trust” these corporations again ? So the misinformation, perhaps even withholding of information is a mis-trust for the unvaccinated ? They really aren’t helping their cause any when there is zero transparency on what the vaccine contains is my point. They have FAQ’s, but their FAQ’s have doughnut holes in thoroughly explaining what they’ve done, their documentation is flawed in that regard. Every product from an engineering perspective should have a revision history readily available. I mean you can see the different generations of iPhones they release every year, why not these vaccines ? It’s not a competition, it’s a collaboration. I went with the J&J in mid-May because it was one & done, I wasn’t going thru the come back in 3 weeks and go thru what the first one put me thru. The J&J vaccine I was pretty much asymptomatic to that process, but that was thru the first few days and weeks/month, it’s been 3+ months and I have no symptoms. Maybe I’m relatively bullet proof for the Delta variants ?
