Asking tough questions is increasingly met with hostility. The political climate—nationally and right here in Flagler County—is at war with fearless reporting. Officials and powerbrokers often prefer echo chambers to accountability. They want news that flatters, not news that informs. They want stenographers. We give them journalism. You know by now, after 16 years, that FlaglerLive won’t be intimidated. We dig. We don't sanitize to pander or please. We report reality, no matter who it upsets. Even you. But standing up to this kind of pressure requires resources. We need a community that values courage over comfort. Stand with us, and help us hold the line. Fund the journalism they don't want you to read. No paywall. But it's not free. Take a moment, become a champion of enlightening journalism. Any amount helps. Great Cartoon! Just like I’ve been saying for years. . . “Garbage In = Garbage Out”!

Seriously, I would love to see some kind of regulation from the FCC that requires that a media outlet with the title “News” must provide “fact checked” credible content ONLY. Good Luck With That! The “first amendment” has now been taken to the extreme fringe! A place that is so extreme that the out right lies and conspiracy theories blasted out every day on TV and Social Media are threatening not only individuals, but the very foundations of our democracy! These are indeed very troubling times! Consider this, we cannot even vote FOX out of existence, and even when its founder dies, it will continue to generate lies, fear and hate each and every day.

Nick Sandmann is rich wining defamation suits against media outlets like CNN, NBC, Washington Post. They don’t fact check and tell lies. Kile Rittenhouse will be the next rich teenager because of these media outlets didn’t fact check. Like to see a cartoon about this.

    WOW! Just WOW!

Here is a compilation of studies and analyses where FOX often “INTENTIONALLY” manipulates facts . . . right down to altering photographs of people’s faces. This article also includes an analysis of the educational level of FOX viewers. . . very interesting. Take a few minutes to get educated: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fox_News_controversies#Content_analysis_studies

The BILLION+ dollars FOX “defamation” lawsuit from Dominion (voting machines) is going forward right now. Smartmatic may be right behind.

    This cartoon is Right On!

All these comments about Fox News. What about the dozen or so networks that are considered fake news because they not only slant the news towards the left but also do not wait to do fact checking of their own before reporting as fact: The Russian dossier, the teenager that stood up against an Indian tribe, Jessie Smolett.

Yes. . . agreed! ALL media outlets make “mistakes”. They ALL need better “fact checking” before publishing their stories.

HOWEVER. . . FOX “INTENTIONALLY” and “repeatedly” manipulates the facts!

Perhaps they may finally be held accountable in a “big way” with the Dominion “intentional defamation” lawsuit. Many legal minds agree that the suit will likely be settled for a “huge sum”, out of court because FOX does not want any of their passionate followers to realize just how “DISHONEST” they really are.

The difference between FOX and most other “News” publishers is their motivation. FOX has as their ultimate goal, for the past 20+ years, the creation of a radical political movement to the extreme right. Since the “unvarnished” truth cannot possibly accomplish such a mission, FOX publishing management and editors require much of their staff to extensively distort and propagandize/politicize the majority of their content.

If your “only” source of “news” input is FOX/their Facebook echo chamber, you are a victim that is slowly and surely being indoctrinated into their enticing alternate reality of white fear and anger in our changing nation.

How very tragic that “fear” is becoming more powerful than LOVE!

BTW. . . The “Credible and Mainstream” media outlets are called “fake news” only by FOX devotees and trump’s minions. FOX doesn’t even claim to be “Fair and Balanced” anymore. There are many credible media outlets such as the Associated Press, BBC, PBS, Reuters, Washington Post, as well as CNN, NBC, MSNBC, CBS. . . even regional newspapers. . . just take a look beyond FOX.
