A lumber truck driver was killed and a woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes of I-95 early this morning (May 6), just north of the Matanzas Woods Parkway intersection.
A two vehicle crash resulted in the death of four people Saturday night on a dark stretch of State Road 100 in Andalusia in West Flagler. It is the deadliest crash on Flagler roads since 2017.
The fatal crash took place just before dawn, on a straight but dark stretch of I-95, about a mile south of the intersection with State Road 100. The two occupants of the Mercedes that struck the pedestrian, who apparently stood in the middle of the road, were not hurt.
A 59-year-old Palm Coast resident was killed and two people were in critical condition following in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on U.S. 1 at County Road 200, in the community of Favoretta, just north of Plantation Bay.
Giorgio Del Mastro, 68, a resident of Ontario, was killed late Saturday night after the BMW he was driving collided with a wandering bull on I-95 just south of the intersection with State Road 100 in Palm Coast.

Dennis Karr Corbin, a 36-year-old resident of Live Oak in north Florida who cherished motorcycles and the outdoors, was killed early Sunday morning as he rode his motorcycle on U.S. 1 in the area of the construction zone near Matanzas Woods Parkway.
Three people were killed–Yvette Mosquera, 49, John Mosquera, 55, and Melody Roberts, 42–in two separate crashes within two miles and two hours of each other on I-95, on either side of Palm Coast Parkway. A Palm Coast teen was killed Thursday evening in the Woodlands, and a Bunnell resident was killed in Volusia Saturday.
Carl Gandy, a long-time and well-known resident of Bunnell who’d been the director of a Stewart-Marchman Act residential treatment center in DeLand, was killed mid-morning Saturday in a head-on crash on State Road 40 in Volusia County. His wife Rena, 46, was injured.
