♦ Sept. 22: Free Palm Coast Business & Professional Network Meet-Up Breakfast: Palm Coast Business and Professional Network is a membership based organization. The organization generates 2,000 leads (prospective clients) per year for its members. Membership affords multitudes of other benefits. As a guest, you are are allowed to attend one free breakfast session to learn about the group, how the meetings are run, meet the members, and learn about membership benefits. ♦ Sept. 27: Palm Coast will dedicate Frank meeker Field in memory of the late county commissioner and city councilman, at 6 p.m. on Field 3 at Indian Trails Sports Complex. The city will also dedicate a tree in Meeker’s memory on Oct. 4 in Central Park.
♦ Oct. 8-9: The Florida Agricultural Museum will host the seventh annual Pellicer Creek Raid on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program will involve a number of living history groups from around the southeastern United States. Approximately 150 infantry, artillery, and cavalry troops will be demonstrating military life in Florida circa 1864. Parades will take place at noon and battles at 1 p.m. on both days of the event. During the rest of the program, the re-enactors’ historic camps will be open to the public. Admission is $5 per person.
