A woman in a car that had been reported stolen was critically injured after she shot herself, attempting to take her own life as Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies were approaching the vehicle early this morning at the RaceTrac gas station on Palm Coast Parkway.

Deputies investigated a suicide by gunshot in an L-Section backyard Saturday.

Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies investigated the death by self-inflicted gunshot of Terrance J. Knapp, 35, in the backyard at 42 Lancelot Drive in Palm Coast Saturday afternoon (Aug. 22). His 14-month-old daughter was in a crib in the house. She was unharmed.
