Saturday: A Day in Old Florida, at Faver Dykes State Park (1000 Faver-Dykes Rd., St. Augustine: Enjoy living history reenactments, old time skills/crafts exhibitions, children’s activities, nature hikes, canoe rentals, good food and live music with Johnny Matanzas and the Hombres.

Saturday: Jam out at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area with the Saturday Jam Session in the park, 3 p.m. Musicians of all levels are encouraged to bring instruments and a chair to join the circle for a casual acoustic jam session. Or just come to listen to great music! Feel free to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. The Jam is held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, weather permitting, at the west side pavilions. stamp-coin-club♦ Sept. 26: The Flagler County Stamp and Coin Club meets at 6 p.m. at the VFW Post 8696, 47 N. Old Kings Road, Palm Coast. The public is welcome.
♦ Sept. 27: Palm Coast will dedicate Frank meeker Field in memory of the late county commissioner and city councilman, at 6 p.m. on Field 3 at Indian Trails Sports Complex. The city will also dedicate a tree in Meeker’s memory on Oct. 4 in Central Park.
florida agricultural museum civil war reenactments pellicer creek♦ Oct. 8-9: The Florida Agricultural Museum will host the seventh annual Pellicer Creek Raid on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program will involve a number of living history groups from around the southeastern United States. Approximately 150 infantry, artillery, and cavalry troops will be demonstrating military life in Florida circa 1864. Parades will take place at noon and battles at 1 p.m. on both days of the event. During the rest of the program, the re-enactors’ historic camps will be open to the public. Admission is $5 per person.     I’m just waiting for the comments of he’s disrespecting “the flag”, “veterans” and “the country” from a bunch of people who themselves didn’t really care about until a Black Man made you notice him and now you’re upset. (half black but it wont matter to most people just as it don’t matter with Obama. ANYBODY darker than “stereotypical white” is automatically black)
