The Flagler Beach City Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall. Commissioners will discuss appointing a committee that would authorize a lease agreement for the city’s troubled golf course at the south end of town. Commissioners will get an annual-report-like presentation from the Flagler Health Department’s Gretchen Smith and consider an amendment to the agreement between Flagler County and the City of Flagler Beach for the Joint Use of the Moody-Wickline Senior Services Center. Commissioners will also discuss and possibly re-establish the city’s beach-management committee.
The African-American Entrepreneurs Club hosts a workshop, “Business Loans for Minorities,” at 6 p.m. at the Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway. It’s a free workshop. Refreshments provided. Call the club at 386/246-8699.
Republican candidates in Congressional District 6 are expected to take part in a Tiger Bay Club of Volusia County event. The seat became open when U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., decided to run for governor. Noon, LPGA Clubhouse, 1000 Champions Dr., Daytona Beach.

Navy Bombing in the Ocala National Forest: Navy training schedules indicate that inert and live bombing will take place at the Pinecastle Range Complex located in the Ocala National Forest this week. Bombings at times can be heard in Flagler-Palm Coast. The bombings are scheduled as follows:
- Thursday: 9-11 a.m. -Live Bombing, 4:45-6:45 p.m. – Inert
During bombing periods wildlife may be temporarily displaced. Use extra caution when driving through the Ocala National forest and surrounding areas. Secure any items around your residence that could attract wildlife. Always be mindful of larger animals including black bears and practice bearwise
