Mathew Smith, 18, of Palm Coast is charged with attempted murder in the Nov. 4 shooting of Trevor Blumenfeld on Llovera Place in what police say was an attempt by four suspects to rob Blumenfeld of marijuana. The three other suspects are Matthew D. Morris, 20, and and Cameron M. Parker, 15, who were also arrested, and Raymond M. Spencer, 16, believed to have fled Florida.

Three unrelated but violent incidents in Palm Coast capped a July 4 weekend by landing three of their alleged perpetrators–Jordan Marrero, Sean Goodison and Roodlyn Mompremier–at the Flagler County jail. All three incidents took place within a span of seven hours on Friday (July 5), between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m, but one of the suspect was not arrested until the next day, and another suspect remains at large.

The woman involved in the suspected rape case that’s shaken Flagler Beach since Friday alleges she was attacked twice by James McDevitt in the space of two blocks, the first time in front of a friend of McDevitt’s who urged him to stop. After the incident, the Flagler Beach police was denied a certified nurse for the incident analysis by the agency contracted to provide such nurses.
