The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who took video of a patron at Publix as the patron was using the bathroom there on Nov. 18.
The incident took place Friday afternoon at the Publix in the Hammock. According to an incident report, the woman was shopping in the store when she went into the store bathroom at 4:27 p.m. The stall next to the one she was using was occupied. She noticed that the person using it was facing toward the toilet–an unusual position in a women’s bathroom. She also noticed that the oerson;s shoes were quite large. She concluded that it was not a woman.
The patron felt uncomfortable and collected herself to leave when she noticed the person holding a red phone over the stall’s divider, pointing the phone at her like someone taking video. She shouted at the person to stop, prompting him to retrieve the phone and run out. The woman attempted to follow the assailant, and called 911.
The man is described as white, 5’7” to 5’8” and approximately 200-250 lbs., in his late teens early 20s, with dark blonde curly hair. He was wearing camouflage Crocs, grey sweatpants and a black hoodie.
John Truitt, the store manager, noticed the man run past him and heard the woman shout to stop the assailant. Truit attempted to follow the man as well. Surveillance footage shows the man running toward State Road A1A then running toward 16th Road. The woman is pursuing charges. Voyeurism is a third degree felony for first-time offenders who are 19 or older, a first degree misdemeanor if the offender is younger.

I wouldn’t be so quick to write this one off as a “voyeur.” Not sure if there is a cult in the area harassing specific people or what but there’s something strange in the air around here. This incident may or may not be related but I’ve personally been approached and harassed recently by what seems like an organized bunch of ragtag wing-nuts and I’m not referring to homeless people looking for a donation. If I visit a park or beach or place that I frequent, goons show up and approach me while engaging in the wildest, weirdest behavior. It’s never the type of harassment that could be reported as an “incident” either. They know how to walk the line by way of using psychological tactics that aren’t obvious and illegal to average passerby. In any case, I hope for this lady’s sake it’s just a one off and this creepy “voyeur” isn’t involved in something beyond that. When they catch this guy or someone commiting similar crimes, the Sheriff’s department should have enough grit to look beyond the surface. If and when the law permits, check their Telegram or whatever encrypted communications they are using and make sure they’re not engaged in something else far more nefarious.

Just so you’re aware, you sound ever so slightly schizo-paranoid when you say people follow you harassing you by ‘walking the line’ between legal and illegal. Right-wing nutjobs have talked about gang-stalking for decades, its been proven untrue for decades. You sound crazy, just saying!

@ getsomehelp:
When I say, “I’ve personally been approached and harassed” I’m clearly referring to a tangible experience. Yet, you’re quick to discredit this and refer to my statement as “slightly schizo-paranoid.” Very interesting judgement. A judgement that I suppose could warrant a Baker Act depending on your profession? Fortunately for the victim in this story there was a surveillance camera in the store that caught an image of the perpetrator exiting. Some aren’t so lucky. Unlike the incident mentioned in the article, how would you feel if the same individuals were harassing you when you visit a specific location? Or better yet, how would you feel if you were then referred to as exhibiting signs of schizophrenia for even mentioning your experience if you had no proof such as video or a picture? I realize it may sound like a stretch of the imagination for those who haven’t experienced repeated harassment by the same individuals, however I can assure you it has happened on more than one occasion and it wasn’t a hallucination or an over exaggeration. What I also find interesting is your use of the term “gang-stalking” and referring to it as a partisan experience that apparently only effects “right-wing nutjobs.” Perhaps since you have some knowledge of this term you can further explain what you mean by “gang-stalking” and whether or not it relates to your profession or something that you discovered by way of a random internet search.

I’ve been to all of those same places and never had an experience close to this. Sounds like you attract trouble.

Gang-stalking? Wasn’t that when a significant number of Trump supporters surrounded a bus emblazoned with Biden logos
and attempted to force it from a roadway, threatening the lives of all aboard the bus? The flags waving from their trucks gave them away.
A valiant attempt, Starfishy, yet a failure when it is all said and done.

I’m a Democrat leaning targeted individual in Seattle. What do you have for me?
Gangstalking is absolutely real and is only nearing its climatic end. As more and more awareness occurs those with a brain and eyes that can recognize the gaslighting patterns will stand on the right side of history. As is always the case …historically.

Probation offices tend to place their probationers/parolees in towns that will at least tolerate them and where the rents are still relatiely affordable. Just sayin’…

@ASF
“Probation offices tend to place their probationers/parolees in towns…”
Speaking as a former FL PO, POs do nothing of the sort. They perform, supposedly, presentence investigations: act as a collection agency for the court, and various other duties related to supposedly supervising individuals, e.g., travel permits, reporting violations of probation, requests for extradition, etc.
Where were you a PO?

This feed went way off the topic. The fact that someone, for whatever reason, was violating another’s privacy in a restroom is not acceptable. What if it were your young daughter, wife, or sister? This individual’s behavior could lead to darker altercations if not addressed, and I hope he is caught soon before it progresses to something worse.
