Early voting is over. Election Day voting begins tomorrow, Tuesday, at 7 a.m. at your precinct.

The Flagler County Commission joins Florida Hospital Flagler when it raises the Blue Flag at 8:15 a.m. at the flagpole in front of the Government Services Building, 1769 E. Moody Boulevard, Bunnell. The event is part of World Diabetes Day.

Gov. Rick Scott at 9 a.m. is expected to re-open the repaired section of State Road A1A partially demolished by Hurricane Matthew at the south end of Flagler Beach. The governor is expected in town according to a city commissioner.

The Flagler County Commission meets at 9 a.m. at the Government Services Building, 1769 E. Moody Boulevard, Bunnell. It is expected to approve a $150,000 grant out of tourism sales tax dollars to underwrite Palm Coast’s construction of new bathrooms at the Indian Trails Sports Complex.

The Flagler County Commission meets again at 1 p.m. for a workshop that will provide a post-hurricane overview, with discussions about the future of A1A, dune protection, beach clean-up and so on. At the Emergency Operations Center in Bunnell.

2nd Pass For Hurricane Matthew Debris Pick-Up in Palm Coast Begins: Residents are urged to place any remaining hurricane debris curbside this weekend – especially if your neighborhood was among the first to receive debris pickup after the storm. Details here.

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection will hold a hearing on a proposal that would create new requirements for notifying the public when pollution occurs.
