Early voting in Flagler County is ongoing and runs through Nov. 5, with polls open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at three locations, including through the weekend: The Flagler County Supervisor of Elections office in Bunnell (in the Government Services Building), at the Flagler County Public Library on Palm Coast Parkway, and at the Palm Coast Community Center on Palm Coast Parkway, off of Clubhouse Drive. Jennifer Stagg firing hearing: The firing hearing Flagler County Management employee Jennifer Stagg asked for before her termination resumes at 8 a.m. at the Government Services Building’s county offices on the third floor, after it was continued on Monday afternoon. Stagg is facing charges of absenteeism, tardiness and insubordination. Her firing, after more than six years at the division, caused an uproar in the broader community and from her previous supervisor, who organized an effort to save her job. The background here.

Gambling: The Florida Supreme Court will hear arguments in four cases, including a dispute about a proposed constitutional amendment that would require voter approval before casino gambling could be authorized in the state. Parole: The Florida Commission on Offender Review is scheduled to meet and discuss numerous parole cases related to crimes committed in the 1970s and 1980s. (9 a.m., 4070 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee.)

The Florida Public Service Commission will hold a hearing on power-plant fuel costs and a series of other types of expenses that are passed on to customers of electric utilities. The Everglades Foundation will continue a 12-day bus tour to urge national and state leaders to support construction of a water-storage reservoir south of Lake Okeechobee. Approximately 150 infantry, artillery, and cavalry troops will be demonstrating military life in Florida circa 1864. Parades will take place at noon and battles at 1 p.m. on both days of the event.
