The Flagler County School Board meets in workshop at 1 p.m. at the Government Services Building, Bunnell, in Training Room 3 on the third floor, then at 6 p.m. for a meeting in board chambers. At the workshop, board members will get an update on Palm Harbor charter school, whose charter the district has put in doubt pending corrective actions. The board will also discuss the impact of publicly funded private school vouchers on the district, and will discuss mental health issues. At the 6 p.m. meeting, school resource deputies will get special recignition as will the 2017-18 retirees from the district. The board will again discuss Palm Harbor.
The Palm Coast City Council meets at 9 a.m. at City Hall in Town Center. The agenda is mostly routine.
The Bunnell Planning Board meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 201 West Moody Boulevard. The board will hear a proposal to change zoning for 91 acres in Grand Reserve to a Planned Unit Development, and hold a public hearing for a requested Special Exception Request to allow a fencing company to operate, store materials, park company vehicles and company equipment at 103 Deen Rd. located in the R-1, Single Family Residential zoning District.
The Daytona State College Board of Trustees holds a workshop and a regular meeting. Workshop at 1 p.m., regular meeting at 2 p.m., Daytona State College, Building 100, 1200 West International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach.
Flagler County Historic Bus Tour: Discover the many historic and interesting sites in Flagler County on this one hundred mile bus tour led by local historian Bill Ryan. Relax and cool off on a comfortable air conditioned bus while uncovering the hidden history of Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches. Tours will depart promptly at 10 a.m., include a lunch stop at the historic Bull Creek Fish Camp restaurant (lunch not included in tour price) and normally return to Holden House at approximately 2:30 p.m. Tours begin at Holden House Museum in Bunnell. There is ample parking here on West Side lot of Holden House Museum. West side is towards US1. Please park on the west side of Holden House. You should arrive in the parking lot between 9:30 for check-in. There is a briefing at the History Annex (Behind Holden House) The tour will depart promptly at 10:00 in an air conditioned Flagler Transport bus. Tours will depart promptly at 10 a.m. and include a lunch stop at the historic Bull Creek Fish Camp restaurant (lunch not included in tour price) and normally return to Holden House approximately 2:30 p.m. Tours are normally scheduled once each month, and are subject to availability. There is a fee of $20 per person. Planned comfort stops are scheduled. These tours are becoming very popular and reservations are required. Please call 386-439-5003 to make reservations.

Road closure planned on County Road 205 starting Monday, June 25: Flager County Public Works Department is planning temporary road and lane closures, as it upgrades culverts, widens, and resurfaces County Road 205. County Road 205, June 25 to July 13 – will be closed west of Espanola and CR13. A southerly detour will run along US Route 1 and State Road 100. Intermittent single-lane closures will continue on CR 205 in the coming months. Flagmen and signage will be in place to assist with traffic flow. COMMISSION TAKES UP AIRBOAT RULES: The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will open a two-day meeting with discussions about issues such as new rules for airboat operators who have commercial passengers. Also, the commission will consider fencing standards for hunting preserves. (Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. Hyatt Regency Sarasota, 1000 Boulevard of the Arts, Sarasota.)
UTILITY STORM PLANS AT ISSUE: The Florida Public Service Commission will consider a draft report about utilities’ hurricane preparedness and restoration activities. The draft report will address ways that utilities could reduce outages and speed up power restoration. Millions of Floridians lost power when Hurricane Irma tore through the state in September. (Tuesday, 9:30 a.m., Gunter Building, 2540 Shumard Oak Blvd., Tallahassee.)
