Free For All Friday on WNZF, 9 a.m.: Host David Ayres welcomes Cindy Dalecki of Marketing to Go, Palm Coast Mayor Milissa Holland, the Flagler Beach Police Department’s victims’ advocate to talk about Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and a few children who’ll talk about the Flagler County Fair, all starting at 9 a.m. with a commentary by FlaglerLive Editor Pierre Tristam on Palm Coast finally waking up to street lights and sidewalks.

All Weekend: The Flagler County Fair and Youth Show continues today and runs through the weekend at the county fairgrounds, 150 Sawgrass Road, Bunnell. Tonight is student night at the fair. Details here.

Friday: Legends in Concert, at the Flagler Auditorium, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, 9:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. at Buddy Taylor Middle School. $10 tickets here. Breakfast, arts and crafts, meet & greet and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. This is a fund-raiser for the school’s general account.

Saturday: Flagler Audubon Society Bird Walk, 8 a.m. at Princess Place Preserve. The Preserve offers an abundance of opportunities for birders. From uplands to wetlands, this park has it all. Join Flagler Audubon for a birdwalk – featuring raptors, wading birds, songbirds and woodpeckers.

Saturday: Turtle Fest in Flagler Beach, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Veterans Park. The Volusia/Flagler Turtle Patrol holds the annual Turtle Fest in early April. Turtle Fest is the primary fundraiser for the Volusia/Flagler Turtle Patrol. Activities include face painting, turtle races, live music, entertainment, white elephant sales, a variety of vendors and wares, local artists and crafts along with food and beverages for sale. Generally, a turtle from rehabilitation is released on the beach mid-afternoon. Educational exhibits and materials are often available from the Marine Science Center, Gamble Roger State Park and other environmental organizations. Information on volunteer opportunities and Turtle Nest Adoptions are also available. T-shirts and canvas tote bags may be purchased, along with turtle magnets, temporary turtle tattoos and miscellaneous turtle-related items. All proceeds go to the Turtle Patrol.

Saturday: First Aid and CPR/AED, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool classroom 339 Parkview Ave., Palm Coast. This class is a 7-hour course (one hour for lunch) designed to meet OSHA regulations and teach administering CPR to children and adults, using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), using a mask or barrier device, assisting with bleeding, broken bones. $5/person with pre-registration required by 9 a.m. April 6. Saturday: Spring Expo & Plant Sale at Central Park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., presented by the Garden Club at Palm Coast, adjacent to the Palm Coast City Hall. The highlight of the Club’s activities is the huge plant sale offering hundreds of different plants. This event benefits scholarships for high school and college students interested in horticulture, agriculture and environmental sciences. In addition there will be a range of garden-related vendors offering a variety of specialty plants and products, arts and crafts, as well as food trucks, and children’s activities.

Saturday: 3rd Annual Barrels for Boobs Surf Contest benefitting the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation, Marineland Beach, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Register to compete or donate here. If you love surfing and hate breast cancer, this is the event for you! The day will consist of continuous surfing, bumpin dance tunes, legendary raffles, local food trucks, and tons of fun in the sun, all for a great cause! This contest is open to men, women, and groms with divisions including Beginners, Short board, Longboard, Tandem, and Weirdest Thing You Can Surf. Heats start at 9 a.m. Breast cancer is still the second leading cause of death among women, affecting one in every eight women and 1 in every 1000 men in the United States. With over $2,400 raised in the last two years, we want Barrels for Boobs to make a difference in this statistic!

Sunday: Healthy Kids Running Series, Central Park in Palm Coast’s Town Center, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The Healthy Kids Running Series is a five-week running program for kids from Pre-K to 8th grade. Each Race Series takes place once a week, on Sundays from 4:30-5:30 p.m., and offers running events such as the 50 yard dash, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the one mile run. Kids will compete each week of the Series for a chance to earn points, and at the end of the Series the top boy and girl with the most points in their respective age division will receive a trophy. It doesn’t matter how fast or slow you are since all participants will receive a medal and gift bag for their achievements! Join us as we encourage kids to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle, help increase their self-esteem, and make new friends. It’s $35 to register your child for HKRS each season. There are single-race options available on-site the day of the race for $10. But to receive the HKRS shirt, participants must register for the five-week program at $35.Details here.

Palm Coast Arts Foundation’s Annual Picnics and Pops Concert With the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, at Town Center: Tickets for the 10th Anniversary event, on May 7 at 6:30 p.m., are $40 for members of the foundation, $45 for the general public, through March 15. In Coming Days in Palm Coast, Flagler and the Occasional Beyond:

♦ April 11: The case of Joseph P. Bova, accused in the execution-style murder of Zuheily Roman Rosado at the Mobil convenience store-gas station on Palm Coast’s State Road 100 in February 2013, is re-opened for a pre-trial appearance before Judge Dennis Craig at 1:30 p.m. in Courtroom 401. Bova’s trial was to have taken place last summer. But his competence to stand trial has remained in question. He is defended by Public Defender Ray Warren.
♦ April 23: The Chamber Players of Palm Coast, under the direction of Paige Dashner Long, are in concert at 3:30 p.m. at Palm Coast United Methodist Church, 5200 Belle Terre Pkwy, performing works by Gluck, Abel, Bach, and Handel. This concert will also include a special appearance by the Harmony Chamber Orchestra, the advanced orchestra from the Flagler Youth Orchestra Program, directed by Sue Cryan. They will play one piece at the beginning of the concert and join together at the end of the concert to perform Handel’s Water Music Overture and the Lady Gaga Fugue. The concert is free and open to all. Please invite family and friends to this wonderful concert, as well as forward this email to those who may be interested. ♦ April 26: Anyone whose child has died is invited to an informal meeting to consider eventually establishing a local chapter of The Compassionate Friends, a nonprofit self-help bereavement support organization for families that have experienced the death of a child. There are some 650 such chapters across the country. The meeting will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Florida Hospital Flagler in classrooms A&B. for more information, call John Brady at 610/428-3139. To learn more about The Compassionate Friends, visit their national website at www.compassionatefriends.org. The meeting is open to all parents, grandparents, and siblings over age 18 who has suffered the loss of a child of any age.
♦ April 29: The People’s Climate Movement March, in conjunction with a march scheduled in Washington, D.C., will march locally, meeting at Wadsworth Park at 10 am and marching over the bridge to Veteran’s Park in Flagler Beach, where there we will a rally and speakers sharing a wide variety of issues and information on how to get involved.
♦ May 16: The Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission holds a hearing the the case of Circuit Judge Scott DuPont, who faces several charges of misconduct during his 2016 re-election election campaign. He has admitted wrongdoing. The 9 a.m. hearing is taking place in courtroom 406-7 at the Duval County Courthouse, 501 W. Adams Street, Jacksonville, before a six-member panel: Eugene Pettis, Steven P. DeLuca, Robert Morris, Michele Cummings, Harry Duncanson (a lay member of the commission) and Jerome S. Osteryoung.
