It had been slangily advertised in red letters as “the littest” homecoming after-party of 2019, a half-dozen girls, most of them clearly under-age and under-dressed, coyly arrayed over the poster’s announcement and directions: “BYOB & BYOW 11PM-WHENEVER,” “leave the drama at home,” and “IF YOU UNDER 16 WE AINT SERVING YOU SHIT.” Shots for $2, mixed drinks for $4.
The location was advertised as taking place on Rolling Sands Drive in Palm Coast. The host was named at the top of the announcement: “Kendall’s HOCO after party,” an apparent reference to Kendall Morgan, an 18-year-old resident of Russo Drive who was arrested that night on charges of hosting an open-house party with alcohol, and contributing to the delinquency of a child, and later, a probation violation.
Flagler Palm Coast High School’s Homecoming dance was on Saturday night, ending around 11 p.m. The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office had been tipped off to the party and had several deputies observing the scene near Russo Drive before midnight. The scene included a 19-year-old individual “stumbling out of the yard,” according to Morgan’s arrest report, holding a 28-ounce bottle of Svedka vodka.
Once deputies established that under-age drinking was staking place they moved in and announced themselves. Morgan came forward and initially denied that there was any alcohol at the party. Her grandmother, the homeowner, had been sleeping in the house, according to Morgan’s account to deputies. Once she emerged, she asked deputies to her her shut down the party.
Morgan, who was on probation from an offense she committed while younger than 18, denied being involved in promoting the party on social media, only to be confronted by her own Instagram page: a deputy had brought it up and shown the account and Morgan herself as “Princess Kendall.” The Instagram post also featured several bottles of liquor on a table.
“The party was scheduled from 11 p.m. until whenever, but it was promptly shut down at 12:08 am. Nothing good occurs when minors, alcohol, ‘weed’ and adults mix,” Sheriff Rick Staly said in a release that referred to “a crowd of minors entering and exiting the fenced in yard.”

Way to go FCSO.YOU SAVED INNOCENT PEOPLE FROM BEING HURT.MOST OF THOSE KIDS.WOULDN’T THINK TWICE OF GETTING BEHIND THE WHEEL OF A CAR
CB from PC says
I hope 18 year old Kendall does some adult jail time.
Probation violation, lying to Deputies, serving alcohol to minors, etc.
The Grandmother potentially could lose everything in a lawsuit should anyone at the party be involved in an accident.
Self-centered with no respect or sense of accountability.
A harsh penalty is the only way to reel this one into the world of adult responsibility.
The minors caught drinking by the Deputies need to attend classes on substance abuse along with their parents.
Maybe the adults will pay a little more attention to what their kids are doing by giving up time and money.
No one needs to become a statistic because some drunk or stoned kid is driving a vehicle…regardless of time of day.

Duh!
Name (required) says
Lol..”Princess Kendall.” Right. I remember when we were in high school, not even non forever ago.. we received compliments for having good grades, being personable and articulate, aspiring to do great things in life; etc. Ghetto culture has saturated an unfortunates portion of society these days. This all harkens back to the fact that so many of these kids live in broken family’s, or with grandma. It’s sad to ask that the school system require “life preparation training,” but it’s seems like it’s time, especially in this area for some reason. When an entire town consists of essentially geographically diverse transients, There’s not much sense of community, Respect for your neighbors, and respect for yourself. There’s really no shame in just being a decent human being, so embrace it sometime. Kendall will sadly see this as a big win, as having created the most drama of anyone that homecoming eve. Good luck, Princess Kendall. I really mean that. (Facetiously, of course.) You’ll need to “google” that I’m sure. The young enterprising graphic artist, however, I do hold an ounce of hope for. Good luck, Angelo! Stay “Lit,” kids! LOLOLOLOL

So no one called in complaints yet the cops come in and shut it down, that’s Flagler County for ya! Where fun comes to die. You wonder why the kids are in the streets doing bad stuff its because of situations like this. They try to have a house party keeping things contained in home with adult supervision and the cops show up and arrest people.
Derrick Redder says
If stupid could fly this poster would be a rocket
Mary Fusco says
These dumb asses promote all their idiotic behavior all over social media. Kids are in the street doing bad stuff? I guess it’s okay to do drugs and alcohol in someone’s backyard? What adult supervision was at this party. The poor grandma was sleep. You do realize that these innocent young people will eventually need to drive to get home and maybe kill you or a member of your family don’t you. You seem to have a warped idea of what fun is. Pathetic.
none ur business says
girl it was not that serious , one kid at the party was drinking , nobody else was doing shit
Dave says
Relax, there is no problem with doing drugs amd alchohol as long as your not in public, and yes there was adult supervision, they just told the cops grandma was sleeping so she didnt get the charge. Kendal actually stepped up and took one for grandma.
Just another Reader says
Really Dave – is a sleeping grandma adult supervision??
Dave says
They only said she was sleeping or else she would have caught the charge.
ASF says
WHERE are these young people’s parents/guardians?????
Geezy Rider says
This town “sucks”. 65 years ago US kids had weekend parties all the time. Beer, Whiskey, Weed, Whatever. Cops didn’t bother anybody unless they got violent. They would even give rides home to the “underage” drunks. It most really BITE being a teenager now days. Damn I miss the old days when cops where people and not Nazi’s !
Steve says
Comparing LEO to Nazis is not only stupid it is offensive. Heres a news flash for you. Drinking age was 18 or non existant then. Not enough innocent people had died from Impaired drivers. Laws put in place. Cell phones were Dick Tracy futuristic. We were under the radar. Now its in your face. Go back to the rocker and hope your Family doesnt become a victim.
Tallest says
Thank god somebody hetr has a sense of reality. F u to the people who are happy that a young girl got arrested for having a house party. We haaf parties every weekend and never had anything but a good time. The point is kuds are supposed to dumb stuff they are kids. The cops are complete nazis in palm coast. They should have made the kids dump out the dtinks an throw aweau the weef. Now they have a record and are going to have pay a s ton of money. Ands that the real story. Crooked cops making the city money. Disgusting

Comments by hypocrites, haters, and people who forgot how teen years work just discredited themselves posting…Judge your own behaviors!!!
Steve says
Teen years work different is absolutely correct. But I can say we were alot smarter and they discredit themselves posting on a Social medis site. Brilliant. Go read a book
carol says
And what is wrong with a fun party?
As long as they don’t bother anyone or cause any problems in the neighborhood, let them be!!!
Here We Go Again says
They were doing what the rest of us all did in High School except that dummie posted online for the world to see! The young seriously have no idea how much the expose themselves with social media. 25 years ago my friends and I hung out in the empty cul de sacs off Bird of Paradise, Presidents and Whirlaway. Seriously, dial it back and remember what your high school years were like.
When you live in a small time and there’s limited things to do this is what kids do. The party was contained and no complaints called in, but the police swoop in to save the day. Give me a break why not worry about arresting the child molesters, domestic violence abusers and creeps hanging out in the park.
BTW…you can be a great parent and your teenager ends up with a beer and a joint hanging out in a parking lot or cul de sac.
Steve says
Agree We all did
Brian says
I almost hit one of them dunk kids that night lmao
CB from PC says
Yeah 50 years ago we partied also…but we did not bring guns and shoot someone who “dissed” us. Times sure have changed.
We also used some discretion as to who and how many were invited.
I don’ t recall anyone using a party as an excuse to settle a score.
But I will say several classmates of mine died in car crashes when the Muscle cars topped out and tested an oak tree.
I knew my limitations.
Otherwise bad choices, bad outcome.
Glad this one was stopped by FCSO.
Parties Over says
I Sure am glad we didn’t have this Internet online social media culture when I was in high school Early Nineties, Word was passed by mouth and keggers (Thats a party where a barell of alcoholic budweiser beer was the center focus) only got disrupted by police when shit got really out of control, like if a rival high school showed up and there were a lot of fights… I feel for these kids as I raise a family here, to me there is next to nothing for them to do, maybe hit the skate ramp at the park or drive out to the beach. Movies cost a small fortune. This kid had a party. at her house. nobody got hurt; and Im glad nobody got hurt but Police here are very clever, and also very internet savvy the punishment is supposed to be the hangover, not a police record, mug shots radio announcements jail time and a compromised future… If things were like this in my hometown growing up I know a LOT of successful doctors lawyers and biz people never would have gotten into that college and made it to where they are with that police record but did far worse far more often then this young girl.
Steve says
Well said
Mary Fusco says
Parties Over, Sorry, but I raised my kids in a rural area. There was not much to do. However, by 16 they were all working and saving for cars or whatever else they wanted. Kids today are idiots that have everything handed to them. They are disrespectful and disobedient. I don’t know about today, but years ago if a kid was drinking at your home and something happened, i.e. he or she had an accident and killed someone, you would be responsible. Many years ago, my youngest daughter was having kids over for a summer party. We served NO alcohol. Later in the night some of the kids she knew from school came and brought their own. We took the keys to their cars and called their parents to come and pick them up. Hell NO was I going to lose everything so a bunch of stupid kids could drink at my house. These same irresponsible kids that you are defending could ruin your life by drinking and driving. Something to think about. Responsibility is where it is at.
joe mama says
this is a load of bullshit. if they wanna have a party after hoco, let them. there ain’t much to do in palm coast anyway. might as well, create options. SMH🤦🏾♂️
Steve says
Mama have it at your home next time. LOL We went where no one would find us the meadows, woods cornfields had huge parties. Ocassional house but not as fun Anyway Welcome to the 21st Century things are different
Alicia Jackson says
Princess Kendall is a dumba$$ for posting on social media. Kids have parties in every town across the country. The dumb and unlucky ones get caught. This girl is incredibly foolish to post that on social media, especially considering she is on probation. LEOs did the right thing, so quit bashing them for it.
Mmpatiant says
Now there going to be put into the system and get to meet all the junkies of Flagler county and have needle partys,it seems the criminals in this county never stay in jail, these where just teenagers doing what all teenagers did or have done, have party’s and live life, don’t end up a worth less junkies like Flagler county is infested with, and the infestation is the police fault, they have junkies set up other junkies and in the end none of them go to jail where they belong because they all tell on each other to get out asap and the police use there addiction to get information out of them to get them right back out so they can get high,it’s disgusting disturbing and sad.this is a big time drug county infested with scum and this is what I’m reading on the news?kids being kids?it’s sad. Yet if it was a needle junkie drug party not a word would be mentioned or a person arrested.this is sad
ASF says
This story was all over the TV news the other night. The “teens will be teens” argument does not justify or excuse what could have been a dangerous situation in the making. It enables more of the same.
Young people need the supervision of their parents and guardians. If they are not getting it, that says at least as much about the “adult” world as it does the “teen ” world…in Palm Coast and elsewhere. As far as I am concerned, repeatedly indulging risky behavior in one’s children is child abuse/neglect.
