Readings: Cease-fire in Gaza for the past two months, you say? Not so. “The destruction has continued,” the New York Times reports. “Israel has demolished more than 2,500 buildings in Gaza since the cease-fire began, according to a New York Times analysis of satellite imagery from Planet Labs. It says it is destroying tunnels and booby-trapped homes.” Of course, that’s not the case. “This is what Israel’s actions look like. A nighttime video from Oct. 30, when the cease-fire was in effect, shows what appears to be a large-scale controlled demolition in a part of Shejaiya, a neighborhood in Gaza City, that is under Israeli military control.” Here’s the video:

https://flaglerlive.com/wp-content/uploads/bwexplosion2-640w.mp4

“Many Palestinians in Gaza argue that Israel has been flattening entire neighborhoods, with little regard for those who once lived or owned property there. Given the extent of the tunnel network, they say they fear that if Israel tries to dismantle it all, many more of the remaining structures in the territory could be imperiled. […] “Israel is wiping entire areas off the map,” said Mohammed al-Astal, a political analyst based in Gaza. “The Israeli military is destroying everything in front of it — homes, schools, factories and streets. There’s no security justification for what it’s doing.” But this is nothing new for genocidal Israel. Take this rewind to 2004, from Bet-Selem, the Israely human rights organization: “Over the last four years, Israel has demolished some 4,100 Palestinian homes in the Occupied Territories. About sixty percent of the demolitions were carried out in the framework of what Israel calls “clearing operations.” Some twenty-five percent were destroyed because Israel claims they were built without permit. The remaining fifteen percent were demolished as a means to punish the families and neighbors of Palestinians suspected of involvement in carrying out attacks against Israelis.” “These homes were demolished because of the acts of 333 Palestinians. On average, 12 innocent people lost their home for every person suspected of participation in attacks against Israelis.”

In the Emergency Defense Regulations of 1945 (promulgated by the king in his Privy Council [and promulgated since by Israel]), part 12, section 119, it says: “A military commander may issue an order confiscating for the government of Israel any house, building, or land, if there is reason to believe that any firearm was illegally fired from it, or from which were illegally thrown, detonated, exploded, or shot in any other way a bomb, hand grenade, or any other explosive or inflammable device, or any house, building, or land situated in any area, city, village, neighborhood, or street, in which it has been discovered that the in-habitants, or some of them, violated, or tried to violate, or assisted violators, or were accomplices after the fact to the violation of these regulations, violations involving violence or threats of violence or any violation judged in a military court; with the confiscation of the house or building or land as stated above, the commander may destroy the house or building or anything within the house…” The wording of the regulations allows, in fact, the destruction of any structure in any village or city in which one resident has committed any security violation; the commander may order that the house be destroyed, confiscated, or sealed without having to give any notification, and without charging the owner of the house with any crime.

–From David Grossman’s The Yellow Wind (1988).

Elections have consequences, Americans were fed up with the illegals flooding into our country under Biden. If he didn’t allow this we wouldn’t be in the mess we are in now! The people of Minn need to mind there own business, & let ICE do its job. Why don’t the protesters, & agitaters ears work? Why cant they follow directions!!! Why are supporting people that are stealing from them! Emptey day cares, delivery vans that haven’t moved in months…. This is FRAUDE!!!! Any way you slice the pie. Most of these Obama drop offs are collecting WEFARE & FOOD stamps….Does this seem fair to you? Democrates are up to there eyeballs, with lies & coverups. Why are they resisting the wants of the American people? Throwing bricks, urine and fireworks, blocking there cars, looking for trouble!!!! The jackass party did shit when Obama, the great deporter did the same thing TRUMP trying to do….Democrates have no class…. This is what they did to TRUMP the last time, it wont work now. These morons fight more for invaders, illegals & crooks than Americans & homeless vets! Why is it the agitaters in Minn are mostly older ladies, & girls? Who is paying them? Are they really that ignorant? TRUMPs doing the job we elected him to do, overwhemingly! You cant be for ICE when a Democrat is in office then turn around & say now its illegal!!!! POPPYCOCK!!!! Ya,LL look like fools. Next time maybe you’ll pick a more qualified candidate, but for now shut up & sit down. Your part of the problem ….Not the solution.

I don’t think Democrats can’t look nearly as foolish as Trump, his sycophants and supporters like this guy!
You say the people of Minnesota should mind their own business. I guess when someone protests what you agree with, they are troublemakers and losers. I’ll bet you’re one of the “true Americans” who thought January 6 was a “day of love” and you’re happy all those fine folks got pardons and beating and killing Capitol police.
And, please, can you figure out how to use Spell Check on your well-thought out screeds?

I used to wonder why people not only put up with Hitler, but supported him. Unfortunately, I’m getting an answer to my questions, right here, in real time, in the USA. So then, I wondered why people are often unreachable with logic, with truths and with evidence to the contrary of their beliefs. I’m learning that now, too.

“Never argue a with fool. They will drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.”
    – Mark Twain.

There are several AI generated examples, on YouTube, of Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860) explanations of why some people do not have the ability to learn outside of their network, and it actually makes sense. He was a German philosopher, not a psychiatrist, but he explains what appears to be happening now where people believe that they are so correct, that no amount of evidence is accepted. They simply accept what they are told, through repetition, and do not have the capacity to think any further. They just regurgitate.

The Steven Millers of the world know this, and use it. What is going on in Minnesota should appall everyone, but it doesn’t. The manipulation is strong, and omnipresent. There is the constant use of Steve Bannon’s “Flood the Zone” strategy, where the American public is constantly bombarded with bullshit to keep them occupied, off balance and keep them from thinking.

It’s really a sad moment for We the People. We are dependent on those of us who do see what is happening, and tell our representatives and senators that it is unacceptable.

For those who are doomed to not understand what is happening in Minnesota, this is exactly what the Nazi soldiers did in Germany. They stopped people in the streets and demanded IDs and proof of citizenship. They were hunting the Jews, who Hitler said were robbing all good Germans blind. You did not grow up in a country like this. The Make America Great Again is a bogus slogan.

I think I read here, or somewhere, that all Florida Sheriffs signed agreements to help ICE in this endeavor. How shameful! Now, no one is trustworthy. Our deputies are not trustworthy. Our current government is not trustworthy.

I am very disappointed in 40%, maybe, hopefully, less, of our population, who are falling for this shameful time on our already great country, and the current administration who is constantly lying to the vulnerable.

I was told that civics and history are no longer taught in schools. If that is so, I think I know why. I definitely know why this current administration is whitewashing history.

This is the very type of government the Greatest Generation fought against. Do them a respectful service, and pick up a history book, and actually read it.
