The Palm Coast Code Enforcement Board meets at 10 a.m. at City Hall in Town Center.

Flagler County Tax Collector Suzanne Johnston hosts a ribbon-cutting at the new branch location of the tax collector, the third, at 2 p.m. at 2550 Moody Blvd., Flagler Beach, in the old Food Lion shopping center.

Buddy Taylor Middle School marks the opening of its Agronomy Lab with a ribbon-cutting at 4 p.m. at the school, 4500 Belle Terre Parkway in Palm Coast.

The Flagler County School Board holds its first workshop in its search for a new superintendent, at 6 p.m., in Room 3B, third floor of the Government Services Building–where the meeting is neither broadcast on television nor available by audio, though the board claims it is seeking public participation.

Ongoing all week: the USTA Pro Circuit Men’s Futures Tourney, which started Jan. 27, runs through Feb. 5 at the Palm Coast Tennis Center, 1290 Belle Terre Parkway. Admission is still free today and Thursday during main-draw play. From Feb. 3 to 5, daily tickets will be $5 for adults, and free for juniors 16 and under. A schedule of matches is posted here.

Live Bombing: Navy training schedules indicate that live and inert bombing will take place at the Pinecastle Range Complex located in the Ocala National Forest, which may reverberate as far as Palm Coast, today, Wednesday, Feb. 2, with live bombing from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and inert bombing from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. The telephone number for noise complaints is 1-800-874-5059, Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility, Jacksonville, Fla. Canales had been judged incompetent to stand trial previously.
