Road closures in Palm Coast: The temporarily closed section of Pritchard Lane – between Providence Lane and Prince Eric Lane – will remain closed through Aug. 17. A detour is in place. The temporarily closed section of Florida Park Drive – from Forest Hill Drive to Flarestone Court – will remain closed for about two more weeks as an emergency repair to a City of Palm Coast sewer pipe continues. A detour is in place.

The Flagler County Land Acquisition Committee meets at 3:30 p.m. in the First Floor Conference Room at the government Services Building, 1769 E Moody Blvd., Bldg 2, Bunnell.

The Bunnell City Commission meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 201 West Moody Boulevard. The commission will hear a proposal to submit the Coquina City Hall and the Bunnell Water Tower (the water tower?) to the National Historical Registry. It will also discuss a new batch of applicants for city manager, whether to raise garbage rates next year, and the purchase of two new police vehicles.

Flagler Cares, the coalition of health care and social services providers focusing on mental health and suicide prevention, meets at 3 p.m. in Classrooms A-B at Florida Hospital Flagler. Michael Cochran, Programs Director, Ability Housing, and Michael Griffin, Vice President of Advocacy and Public Policy, Adventist Health System, are guest speakers.

Navy Bombing in the Ocala National Forest: Navy training schedules indicate that inert and live bombing will take place at the Pinecastle Range Complex located in the Ocala National Forest this week. Bombings at times can be heard in Flagler-Palm Coast. The bombings are scheduled as follows:

Monday: Live and inert bombing from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m., with live bombing ending around 7:30 p.m.

During bombing periods wildlife may be temporarily displaced. Use extra caution when driving through the Ocala National forest and surrounding areas. Secure any items around your residence that could attract wildlife. Always be mindful of larger animals including black bears and practice bearwise <http://myfwc.com/wildlifehabitats/managed/bear/wise/neighborhood/> measures. Through Aug. 17: Florida Department of Health in Flagler is offering free back-to-school immunizations July 30 through August 17. Parents and guardians are asked to bring their child’s immunization record, insurance card, and a photo ID. The clinic will be open Monday through Friday from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. No appointment is necessary. The DOH-Flagler is located at 301 Dr, Carter Blvd. in Bunnell. EARLY VOTING BEGINS IN SOME COUNTIES: Early voting for the Aug. 28 primary elections will begin in some counties before going statewide on Aug. 18. Among the counties where early voting will start Monday is Miami-Dade, the most heavily populated county in the state.
