Watch the Presidential Debates in Full

October 22, 2012 | FlaglerLive | 5 Comments

The guts of the presidential debate stage. (University of Denver)

In case you cannot get to a television–or in case you’re at work, or on a dull date, with your iPhone in your lap–we’re embedding Google’s YouTube feed of tonight’s presidential debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney from Boca Raton. Previous debates are below. The debate will also be broadcast live on C-SPAN, ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other cable channels.

Live fact-checking of the debates: Politifacts will be providing live fact-checking at its site or through its Twitter feed. The Caucus, the New York Times blog, will be live-blogging and fact-checking the debate here.

Meanwhile, if you scroll below the embed of the Obama-Romney feeds, you can watch some wild debate entertainment: the Carter-Reagan debate of 1980 (“there you go again”) in full. It was their only one, and it helped Reagan win as big as he did.

Here’s the first debate between Obama and Romney, from Denver on Oct. 3:

The Oct. 16, town hall debate between Obama and Romney:

The Oct. 11, 2012 vice presidential debate from Danville, Ky.:

Asking tough questions is increasingly met with hostility. The political climate—nationally and right here in Flagler County—is at war with fearless reporting. Officials and powerbrokers often prefer echo chambers to accountability. They want news that flatters, not news that informs. They want stenographers. We give them journalism. You know by now, after 16 years, that FlaglerLive won’t be intimidated. We dig. We don't sanitize to pander or please. We report reality, no matter who it upsets. Even you. But standing up to this kind of pressure requires resources. We need a community that values courage over comfort. Stand with us, and help us hold the line. Fund the journalism they don't want you to read. No paywall. But it's not free. Take a moment, become a champion of enlightening journalism. Any amount helps. Hey all you Mitt fans….. what say? where are you I expected to see dozens of comments about how your guy just sounded so informed and managed to make our president look like the naive and weak one. I guess watching how Mittens just sweat and stumbled and agreed has you all in a coma. Wake up people, this guy is an empty suit who is a puppet for the far right wing neocons and moneygrubbers.

“Mittster is talking faster than a methhead at a traffic stop. ”

Yes, I noticed how fast and how many times he said “Mr. President, attacking me is not an agenda that solves the mess you left us in!”

Funny thing is, Obama likes to control people just like meth does, and Mitt says America liberates from dictators. Freedom or tyranny, which one suits you?

Calling someone out on blatant lies is Not an attack. Ol’ Mittens was playing for time since he had nothing new to say………. except of course that he agrees with almost all of President Obama’s policies.

And still, where are you Romney advocates? I so wanted to have a stimulating discussion on what, where, why and how, Mitt and Co. will lead us off the socio/economic cliff if the right wing radicals have their way on Nov.6. Wake up, get the facts and pray, because there are just too many low information voters out there. enough to make it scary.
