Ex-Palm Coast Soccer Academy Coach Arrested on Molestation Charges Involving Two Boys

Sean Stern, the former program director at the recently defunct Palm Coast’s Professional Sports Pathways, a specialized soccer academy for youths, was arrested Thursday on two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation charges.

Sea oats are important to the ecology of barrier islands because they're resistant to saline air and root deep into sand, stabilizing dunes. Sea oats are a protected grass under Florida law.

Students from Pathways Academy and Matanzas High School planted 750 sea oats along Beverly Beach’s dunes through a University of Florida project and the initiative of Beverly Beach Commissioner–and FlaglerLive columnist–Frank Gromling, who relates the story.
