Two vehicles collided head on, igniting a fire, on U.S. 1 at County Road 304  Sunday night, sending two victims to the hospital with severe injuries and closing the highway’s southbound lanes.

Tyler M. Tracy, a 21-year-old resident of Palm Coast and parent of a toddler, was killed his SUV lost control and overturned on U.S. 1 near County Road 304. The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking a witness.

Two people are dead, a third was taken to Halifax hospital in Daytona Beach, after one car T-boned another and catapulted it against a loaded logging truck. The driver of the logging truck was not hurt.

Ronald Salyer, a 55-year-old resident of Middleburg in for Biketoberfest, was killed in a fiery crash on U.S. 1 at County Road 304 late Saturday night when his motorcycle collided head-on with a van that had driven into his lane.
