Ormond Beach Police Investigating Shooting on Seminole Drive and Seeking Public’s Help

ormond-beach-policeThe Ormond Beach Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred at 222 Seminole Drive at approximately 10:53pm. A male subject was shot in the stomach by another male after an argument. The victim’s name is not being released at this time pending further investigation.

The suspected shooter was taken into custody for questioning. The victim was transported to Halifax Hospital by EVAC Ambulance. OBPD Investigators and Crime Scene personnel are currently working to determine the series of events that led up to the shooting. The press release will be updated periodically as the situation permits.

Anyone who may have information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Ormond Beach Police @ 677-0731. Anyone who wishes to remain anonymous can call Crimestoppers @ 277-TIPS or toll-free @ 1-888-277-TIPS. Those who provide information to Crimestoppers can qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
