I have lived in Florida for six years and have worked for Flagler County Schools for five. I started as a custodian for the Custodial Services Department. I have worked up to a coordinator’s position with the department. Working for Flagler County Schools, I’ve had the opportunity to attend Flagler Technical Institute where I enrolled in the Landscape/Nursery Management class and graduated in June of 2010. Working for Flagler County Schools has given me an opportunity to grow. This is why I thrive to do my best, and take pride in my work. My performance not only reflects on me, but on my department and Flagler County Schools. I would like to thank everyone for their support, but special thanks goes to the Custodial Services Department management, staff and co-workers. I consider them all my extended family. I’m proud to represent such an awesome department. It truly is a pleasure to work with all at Flagler County Schools. Once again thanks for the opportunity given to me, and for the honor of nominating me Employee of the Year.
