From the City of Palm Coast:
Palm Coast, partnering with the Friends of Tennis, will host a United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) Junior Futures event on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Palm Coast Tennis Center.
Youths who are not quite ready to compete at the national USTA level can register to play in specific divisions for boys and girls under 10, 12 and 16 years of age. The new 10 and under format of play will be featured using smaller court dimensions and low compression balls. All players will receive a commemorative t-shirt and the top three players will receive awards. The tournament begins at 10:00 a.m. and entry fees are $15.
The Palm Coast Tennis Center is located at 1290 Belle Terre Parkway. Plan to register the young tennis player in your family to compete in this unique tournament. For details and registration information, please call the Center at 386/986-2550.

Great move as we should promote “Economic Development thru Sports” as well, while encouraging our young athletes to compete. Lets support all our local athletes young and old. This Saturday 10/22/11 please be on the look on our roads and sidewalks for Flagler 50 Challenge Race. http://rockraces.com/
Car drivers out there please, be cordial, gentle, friendly and can even honk on support of our athletes as physical fitness should be one of our County destinations for ED. This event is self financed by the entry fees paid by the participants and will be also a fund raising for Pastor Silano’s Food Bank helping our fellow neighbors in need.
