Circuit Judge Dennis Craig spoke heartfully and at length of the senselessness of 29-year-old Vitaly Tsabak’s burning of a family home before sentencing him to what proved to be a remarkably lenient 20-year term.

The area of Boston Lane, off Boulder Rock Drive in Palm Coast, where the search was conducted Tuesday evening following the report of a burglary.

A woman came out of her bathroom at her home on Boston Lane Tuesday evening to find a man standing in her house. The alleged burglary triggered a search, but the man was not found.

Some 23 burglaries struck Palm Coast’s B-Section overnight, the latest in a series, but this time five Jacksonville boys from 14 to 17, and a 19-year-old man, were arrested after a chase and search through the neighborhood.

Cody J. Lynch, 21, faces an aggravated battery charge for allegedly battering his pregnant wife when he couldn’t find his PlayStation 4. Some half dozen break-ins involving mostly unlocked cars in Palm Coast’s B Section ended with the arrest of Michael Shawn McRoberts Jr., 18, who lives in the same neighborhood.
