Palm Coast Half-Marathon and 5K Run: Schedule and Road Closures

The second annual Palm Coast half-marathon and 5K run is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 15, starting at 8 a.m. at European Village. The morning’s events are as follows:

8:00 a.m.: Half Marathon
8:15 a.m. : 5K Run/Walk
9:45 a.m.: 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
10:00 a.m.: 5K Awards Presentation
11:00 a.m.: Half Marathon Awards Presentation

Races Start and Finish at the the European Village, 101 Palm Harbor Parkway in Palm Coast.

Packet Pickup: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn: 55 Town Center Blvd. Palm Coast. Other people can pick up your packet for you. Special permission packet pickup will be allowed Sunday. A timing chip will be provided at Packet Pickup. All participants must wear bib and chip.

To accommodate runners, Palm Harbor Parkway, from the Palm Coast Marina to Palm Coast Parkway, will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Motorists are advised to use Clubhouse Drive as an alternate route. Detour signs will be posted.

Runners will be enjoying a picturesque run through the beautiful trails along Palm Coast’s trails and waterfront, and families will finish a 5K and Family Fun Run, all beginning at European Village at 8 a.m. For information, contact Lisa Gardner at 386-986-2341.
