The Emergency Medical Services Advisory Board meets at 9:30 at the Emergency Operations Center in Bunnell, behind the Government Services Building.

The Flagler County Land Acquisition Committee meets at 3:30 p.m. at the Government Services Building, 1769 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell, to discuss recommending commission approval of a resolution urging the Legislature to earmark $300 million a year to the Florida Forever land acquisition program in line with voter approval of a constitutional amendment.

The Flagler County Library Board of Trustees meets at 4:30 p.m. in the Doug Cisney room at the library on Palm Coast Parkway.

The Bunnell City Commission meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 201 West Moody Blvd., Bunnell. The commission is expected to adopt on second reading an indefinite extension of the moratorium on police, parks, fire, recreation and transportation impact fees.

Moon Rise at the Beach:, 5:30 p.m. Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area (3100 S. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach). As NASA describes it, “A full moon will occur that appears slightly larger and brighter than usual. The reason is that the Moon’s fully illuminated phase occurs within a short time from perigee – when the Moon is its closest to the Earth in its elliptical orbit. Although the precise conditions that define a supermoon vary, [tonight’s] supermoon will undoubtedly qualify because it will be the closest, largest, and brightest full moon in over 65 years.” So join rangers for a moon rise at the beach. You will learn fun and interesting facts about the moon and our coastal ecosystem. Bring binoculars for a spectacular view and camera for beautiful photo opportunities! Due to the recent storm, our beach access ramp is closed and there is no beach access at this time. However, you can view the moon from the overlook. RSVP at Eventbrite.com. The St. Augustine Jewish Historical Society presents Marcia Fine, award-winning author of seven novels, who will speak about a “Sephardic Journey” at 7 p.m. in the Flagler Room of the Old Ponce de Leon Hotel, 74 King Street at Cordova Street on the Flagler College Campus in St. Augustine. Fine’s historical fiction, “The Blind Eye,” has been chosen by the State Library of Arizona ONEBOOKAZ, a celebration of quality literature.
