Let’s not encourage the local hunters to make this harder than it has to be. At the price per lb the groceries sell turkey for, they simply can’t compete with that after factoring all the defeathering that needs to happen. And save the wild life of FL instead, while they’re at it. There are some things that should be left to the slaughterhouses. Catching fish for the masses is another one. If the sport of hunting & fishing, I can see those folks doing the hunt your own meals. Beyond that, the cost of a hunting & fishing license is as much as the turkey on Thanksgiving & Christmas will cost you ? Think about it before you waste your time out in the woods with a turkey caller, a gun, all while wearing your flourescent vest over camouflage clothes and making an idiot out of yourself. Imagine coming up empty on the hunt, then having to buy a turkey anyway to feed the family.
