Flagler Dental Associates announced the addition of Dr. Ryan T. Smith to the dental practice’s growing staff this week.

“Dr. Smith was brought on board so that we may continue to enhance and expand the quality of services we offer our patients here at Flagler Dental Associates,” Erik Olson, president of Dental Associates, said. “Dr. Smith comes to us with the experience and work ethic we were looking for to treat our patients,” he added.

Smith was born and raised in Northeast Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida with an undergraduate degree in Entomology. He was then one of only five students in the country to be accepted into the prestigious Masters of Biomedical Science Dental program at Nova Southeastern University. After completing the masters program, Smith graduated with honors from the college of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University. During his time at NSU he participated in mission trips to Jamaica, and Give Kids a Smile. He is currently an active member in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and American Society of Forensic Odontology.

“I am excited to be working with such a professional staff,” Smith said. “I strive to make every dental visit a positive, relaxing and rewarding experience for patients.”

Flagler Dental Associates has been serving the Flagler County community for over 40 years. The practice, at 30 Office Park Drive in Palm Coast, is accepting new patients and offer cleanings, implants, x-rays, teeth restorations, whitening, crowns, dentures, porcelain bridges, veneers, and more.
