For the last two years our ferry service and dock system at Fort Matanzas were severely damaged, first by Hurricane Matthew in October 2016, and again in September 2017 by Hurricane Irma. Repairs to both ferry boats and dock system have recently been completed, inspected, and service to the fort is resuming. We appreciate the patience and good will we received from our visitors who often travel great distances to visit St. Augustine and Fort Matanzas National Monument. We look forward to your next visit with us.
