Bunnell’s Harry Goldsborough, 51, was jailed Sunday after being accused of stabbing Bunnell’s Duane Weeks, a felon currently on bail on a June allegation of felony-battery.
Weeks, the 34-year-old son of former elections supervisor Kimberle Weeks, was taken to Halifax hospital in a trauma alert following the early morning incident at Annie Oakley’s Saloon in Ormond Beach. Weeks in June was arrested on aggravated assault, criminal mischief and felony battery after a fight with his girlfriend at a bar spilled into Hollar and Green, the Bunnell business where his father works, and where the younger Weeks is alleged to have brutalized the woman. The first and second charges were dropped, the third is pending, but the court ordered him to have no contact with alcohol meanwhile.
Goldsborough told police that the fight at Annie Oakley’s started inside when Weeks “was being argumentative and had battered an elderly bar patron,” according to Golsborough’s arrest report. But the stabbing took place outside.
A 29-year-old Palm Coast resident and patron at Annie Oakley’s told police she was sitting outside in the rear of the bar when she saw Weeks and Goldsborough get in a fight on the rear patio deck. She saw Weeks “grab a large plastic trash can and throw it overhand, striking Goldsborough and an employee” at the bar, Linda Wilson, 46, of Bunnell, “knocking both to the ground. At this point Goldsborough pulled a knife and stabbed Weeks in
the leg,” the report states.
“He stabbed that guy!” the witness yelled out. She then saw Goldsborough leave the parking lot in a dark colored pickup truck.
The bar owner told deputies that the fight had started inside, then spilled outside. A deputy later viewed the surveillance footage of the incident once it spilled out. Weeks, according to the deputy’s account of the video, is seen exiting the bar “forcefully, as if he was physically thrown out the back door, and fall to the ground.” Goldsborough got out immediately behind Weeks, “and the two men became involved in a physical fight.” Wilson tried to get between the two to break them up. That’s when Weeks is seen “grabbing a nearby trash can and throwing it, striking both Goldsborough and Wilson. Goldsborough can be seen moving towards Weeks, and moving his right hand in a downward stabbing motion, making contact with Weeks’ leg. At this point Wilson positioned herself between the two combatants, and separates them a second time. The video footage clearly shows Goldsborough moving his right hand to his right rear pants pocket in what appeared to be placing an object into his
pocket.”
Weeks was transported to Halifax hospital as a trauma alert.
As Volusia County Sheriff’s deputies were interviewing additional witnesses, one of whom corroborated the Palm Coast woman’s account of Goldsborough stabbing Weeks, Bunnell police pulled over a truck matching the description of the one the woman had seen Goldsborough leave Annie Oakley’s in. “According to Bunnell Police, Goldsborough had a substantial amount of blood on his hands and clothing, suggesting Goldsborough was involved” in the bar incident.
Police drove the two witnesses at the bar to Bunnell for a show-up identification. Both witnesses said Goldsborough was the man they saw stab Weeks.
Golsborough, of 2310 Hazelnut Street in the Mondex section of Bunnell, posted bail on $2,500 bond on the aggravated battery with a deadly weapon charge and was released.

So, Weeks was out on bail but in bar after having been ordered to have no contact with alcohol. I hope enablers everywhere are taking note. You can literally love your child to death.

I guess after seeing what his family member pulled and got by with it, he would be slick and go to a bar out of town. I am sure he was not drinking kool-aid in there. He probably was thinking what the hell i will take a STAB at it !
