The suspect is seen exiting Target Thursday, allegedly after buying goods with a stolen credit card.

Flagler County Detectives are looking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who broke into a parked car outside of Anytime Fitness located at 260 Cypress Edge Drive in Palm Coast just before noon on Thursday.

The victim and her friend had left their purses, wallets, cash and credit cards on the front seat of their car while they went into the gym–an all-too common practice Sheriff’s officials, including Undersheriff Rick Staly as recently as Friday, decry, as numerous break-ins are crimes of opportunity, lured by property needlessly left in full view.

When the two victims were done at the gym, they went back out to the car and discovered that the passenger side window had been smashed out and their property taken.

A credit card belonging to one of the victims was later used to make several purchases at Target in the Town Center. Surveillance video obtained from Anytime Fitness showed the suspect driving into the parking lot and getting out of her car. The victims then come into the lot, park their car and walk into gym. The suspect then moves her car and backs in next to passenger side of the victim’s car. About four minutes later the suspect is seen driving out of the parking lot.

The suspect was later captured on video entering the Target store and then walking out of the store with several packages in her arms at about 12:32 p.m. (See the image above.) The suspect is as a black female, 25 to 35 years-of-age, approximately 5’6” tall, weighing 170 to 180 pounds, shoulder length straight black hair. She was seen wearing a black shirt t-shirt with pink lettering, blue jeans and white shoes. She was driving what detective believe is a newer model black Toyota Camry with tinted windows and sport wheels.

Detectives are asking that anyone with information on this incident to contact Detectives at 386-586-4801 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS (8477). You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.

If you invite crime you deserve the consequences! Anyone with half a brain knows you dont leave pocketbooks in a car.

Well, the lesson learned, do not leave your valuables in plain sight, for all the criminals to see. This is not the same Palm Coast we remember. I have watched a steady decline..Such a shame!

  3. Florida Native. says:

It’s hard to believe that someone would do that in front of a busy business with all the people and traffic around. Nah….this is Palm coast.

  4. Just Plain Dumb says:

People will never learn to lock their possessions up and out of sight. I feel for the victims but if you put candy in front of a child, they will take it, plain n simple..
It takes seconds to invade your privacy so why not take a few seconds to take precautions? It boggles me to know end how careless people are..
Sorry, it’s a hard lesson to learn, but maybe this will help someone else from the misfortune.

Anyone want to take a side bet she’s from Bunnell? The Nissan I’ll admit is a bit classy for Bunnell, seems more suggestive of a Daytona origin, that is assuming it was not “Hot” as well. Would be interesting to find out if she took Old Kings or Belle Terre. If you’re home is in Daytona, are you really going to drive past the 95 South on ramp towards home mere minutes after robbing someone, so that you can drive to the other side of town, so you can get pork skins and fried chicken from Target? First off, everyone knows Publix Fried Chicken is the best. But I can understand making the mistake. You were probably still zonkered from that boulder you burnt up earlier, which interestingly enough gives us two things. 1 – It explains the shere stupid of not only robbing a car in broad daylight in downtown palm coast, but then thinking this is the perfect time to your household errands. 2 – It gives us Motive. You spent all your money on that rock because, well because you’re a crack-head and they do stuff like that. So now, your 8 children in that one bedroom efficiency are hungry, we all know none of the 7 “babydaddys” are going to pay their support since 3 of them are in County and 2 went up the road for 20 years, and the last 2 “ain’t got no job.” You traded yesterday you traded the last of your foodstamps and wic for some pills, so now because you’re Jones’English, your only choice is to go rob someone, call the dope boy (no doubt from a safelink phone) and find out what he wants from target and what he will trade you ffor it, cause you know, you gotta feed Yo kids so you goin’ be stoppin theer anyway, and JerMicheAnton’s house is jus roun tha block from your house, so it is on the way, and you just did all this runnin around for them kids, you need a break.

So sad, so sad, so sad.

The scariest part, is how much of that is probably close to the truth.

Best of luck to the Boys In Green.
And be careful, the hair is a cheap weave she dun got did by her girl ShaQuiesha Latieffaa Jones, you know, the 3rd babydaddy’s cousin, so you won’t get a good hold there. And she’s a biter too, and those golds are fake so watch out for tetanus. Best to use a taser I think, and probably some of that I.C.E. spray, Oh and definitely bring a couple dogs…. Just saying.

Please take your racism somewhere. While I don’t condone the thief’s actions, your attitude in response is almost as deplorable.
