March 27 Update–Stephen Vickers, a 50-year-old Palm Coast resident of Blairsville Drive missing since March 16, was located on Thursday near Publix on Belle Terre Parkway. The Sheriff’s Office received a tip on his location, quickly responded and safely located Vickers, according a sheriff’s office spokeswoman. “The reporting person stated they recognized Stephen Vickers from the article they read on FlaglerLive,” the sheriff’s Paula Priester said.
Sheriff Seeking Public Help Locating Blairsville Drive Resident Missing Since Monday
March 20–The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help locating Stephen Vickers, a 50-year-old Palm Coast resident of Blairsville Drive. Reported missing, he was last seen at his Blairsville home on Monday, March 16, around 9 a.m.
Vickers is a white male, 5’11-6’1 tall and weighs 185 pounds. He has green eyes and short gray hair and is partially balding. Vickers is believed to be in a depressed state and may drink heavily. Vickers is known to frequent the Flagler County Public Library, Good Will in Palm Coast and the Flagler Beach or St. Augustine areas.
The missing status was reported by Vickers’s 81-year-old mother. Vickers does not currently have a vehicle, he’s unemployed and has no local friends or relatives, his mother told police. She noted that he’s never failed to return home in the past.
Vickers was last seen wearing blue jeans, tennis shoes, and a gray sweater. Anyone with information or who has seen Vickers is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 386-313-4911 in reference to case number 2015-30593.
