Palm Coast Heating & Air Conditioning announces the company is now offering insulation services with Owens Corning.
“We’ve been in business 21 years,” said President Doug Jahn. “Teaming up with another company to offer a new service is a big deal for us,” he added.
Owens Corning has been a Fortune 500 company for more than 57 years, and in business since 1938. Owens Corning has continued to grow as a market-leading innovator of glass fiber technology ever since.
Insulation is designed to make a home or business more comfortable and energy efficient, provide sound control, and help lower energy bills. Insulation can be added and updated in attics, floors, walls, and ducts.
According to a pair of 2002 Harvard School of Public Health study, if your home is as little as five to 10 years old, you are most likely have one of the millions of under-insulated homes in the United States.
“Increasing insulation in new homes not only has the potential to benefit residents with reduced energy bills, but can also reduce environmental burdens by decreasing air pollution from power plants and heating systems,” the second study, by the same author, notes. “However, increased manufacturing of insulation has its own environmental burdens, necessitating a thorough analysis to inform public policy.”
Palm Coast Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. has been serving the Flagler County area since 1990, growing from one to 10 employees in the period.
