The event is organized with special assistance from Roy Seiger, director of the Flagler County Airport, in this first-time Rotary Club of Flagler Beach “5k Race of the Runways” event.
The funds raised from this event, which is co-sponsored by the Palm Coast Observer and is part of the Palm Coast Race Series, help support the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach projects. Some of these include: scholarships for adults and students, Project Share, which provides holiday gifts for needy families and dictionaries for every 3rd grade child, the support of an orphanage and mobile mammography unit in Paraguay, the Youth Leadership Academy, world-wide polio eradication and the Youth Exchange Program.
