Palm Coast’s St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church is holding an art auction on Saturday, Oct. 16th, with oil paintings, watercolors, prints (signed and numbered), serigraphs, limited edition items and diverse mixed media artworks on offer.
More than 200 pieces of beautifully framed and matted art, from important collections and notable artists, will be on display and available for sale. Representative artists may include: Chagall, Neiman, Liu, Rockwell, Boulanger, Addison, Wyeth, Brodinsky, Alcott, Kinkade, Moses, Agasse and many more.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s parish community. Marlin Art, Inc. of Deer Park, N.Y., the national fundraising firm, is conducting the fine art auction.
Admission is $20.00 per person and includes registration to bid and complimentary food and wine throughout the evening. Tickets are purchasable after all Sunday masses through October 10th and at the parish rectory and school office until October 15th.
“This will be a night of fun, excitement and spirited head-to-head bidding. There will be something for everyone – all styles, mediums and price ranges beginning at $65.00,” Phyllis Jenkins, the art auction chairperson, said.
The auction will be set up in an inviting display in Seton Hall at 4600 Bell Terre Parkway in Palm Coast. The art can be previewed at 5:30 p.m. It will be a time for browsing the impressive display of fine art while socializing and enjoying complimentary hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, wine and cheese. Coffee, beverages, cakes and pastries will be served later in the evening.
The auction begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends approximately at 8:30 p.m. There will be a door prize and raffle prizes at the end of the evening. For additional information call St. Elizabeth Ann Seton rectory at 386/445.2246 or the school at 386/445.2411
