The victim told police that he’d been sitting on the couch next to Jackson in the P Section when the couple started arguing about pictures of other women on the alleged victim’s Facebook account. The witness told police that he saw Jackson walking quickly behind the victim and yelling at him, though there’s no mention of a knife.
In Jackson’s telling to police, the argument had started during a car trip and continued in the house as she questioned her boyfriend about the pictures. She said that when she tried to take the phone away from him, he pushed her on the couch, held her down and struck her in the head several times. The arrest report notes that a bump was observe d on Jackson’s forehead. She did not mention a knife.
