Tiffany Edwards has returned to the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce as director of events and marketing.
Edwards’ chief responsibilities will include planning, executing and marketing special events, securing event sponsors and developing new programs as determined by the Chamber board.
“We are thrilled to have Tiffany’s enthusiasm, high energy and positive attitude back at the Chamber,” Chamber President Rebecca DeLorenzo said. “We missed her while she was off spreading her wings in Volusia County and were very pleased when she accepted our offer to return. As we roll out our new programs and initiatives through the rest of the year and build upon existing ones, Tiffany will play an important role in planning them as well as finding sponsorships to help support them.”
Prior to joining the Chamber, Edwards worked as a sales manager for a local tour operator for the southeastern United States, and also served as the assistant director of corporate events with Godiva Chocolatier. Most recently, she served as events coordinator for the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach.
Edwards grew up in Central Florida, graduated from Spruce Creek High School and earned a B.S. in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida.
“I greatly missed my Chamber family while I was away,” Edwards said. “When the opportunity arose to rejoin the team and take on greater responsibility in building so many exciting events, I jumped at the chance.”
Edwards can be reached at 386.437.0106, or by email at [email protected].

Can’t pay your bills, have to sell the building, but you hire more people. Now that’s “Good business practices”!

If that is true, then perhaps they are trying to right the ship, rather than simply ride it to the bottom. That’s what a proactive team would do.

Welcome back Tiffany!

To – “A little common sense please” – The events and marketing director is a very important position, which until recently had been filled by a very bright and competent person, who resigned for a great growth offer from a different business. This is an essential replacement hire, not a new hire, and hiring this lady is terrific for she already knows the job. This is a win-win for the Chamber.

So Algernon you are telling me that the bright and competent person Tiffany will be replacing is being let go so there won’t be an additional hire and no impact to the current budget status. I’ll stand by my statement until you tell me the person who is filling the spot now is gone.
