Few Trump Supporters Turn Out at State Capitol in Tallahassee

January 21, 2021 | FlaglerLive | 4 Comments

After preparation for potentially large-scale protests, only about 10 supporters of President Donald Trump waved signs to motorists outside Florida’s Capitol on Wednesday as President Joe Biden was sworn into office in Washington, D.C.

With law-enforcement officers visible atop the Florida Capitol and the nearby Leon County Courthouse, the handful of Trump backers maintained their unsubstantiated belief about election fraud in the 2020 election as motorists occasionally honked in agreement or shouted disparaging remarks. “We just feel there were a lot of improprieties during the election. We just don’t feel like our votes were heard,” said Earl Austin, who drove from Jacksonville with his wife, Suzanne, to hold signs outside the Capitol. “We just feel like, right now, we know it’s over probably, but it’s so these things do not occur ever again.”

Nearby a woman, clad in a red “MAGA” cap and a face mask featuring the word “Trump,” declined to discuss what drew her to the state Capitol, while she held a couple of signs, one stating: “Thank You President Trump! The World needed you.” Members of the media dominated the scene along Monroe Street. On Friday, Gov. Ron DeSantis activated the Florida National Guard to assist state and local law enforcement following an FBI warning of potential violent protests in state capitals in the wake of the Jan. 6 attempted pro-Trump insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

What does it matter how many people showed up for him. He put this country in such Jeopardy in such complexity it’s horrible now the senators are backpedaling cuz they don’t want to follow through on the impeachment trial to convict him of murder of five people that happened on January 6th it’s a disgrace senator Cruz Halli Mitch McConnell and Graham need to be taken out of office for they do not follow the Constitution they do not do what they’ve been voted in by their people to do so what’s the sense in holding a chair if you’re not going to do your job it’s time for them to go.

Add Gaetz, Diaz and Sabatini, who should be expelled from the legislature, and especially Rick Scott and Flagler County’s Mullens, who sponsored and encouraged and incited terrorists to go to D.C. and kill democrats and Mike Pence. Waltz, too. Don’t forget DeSantis, who was Trump’s right hand man here in Florida. Terrorist lover Sabatini is trying to get a main road that cuts through the middle of Florida from Miami to the Florida/Alabama border renamed after corrupt treasonous traitor Trump. Gaetz is still kissing his feet. Expell them once and for all. Florida and the country needs true patriotic LEADERS in Congress and this legislature who will PROTECT the Constitution and our government, not try to overthrow it for a hitler-entity.

Susan Grine , right on ! We’ve got to get most of the lying , crooked , treasonous GOP ‘ers out . They’re supposed to be Pro Life . Trump re-instated the death penalty In June or July last year ( not a word then ) with a record # of executions which the Catholic Biden will end . They use pro-life only for votes . Rowe -Wade was decided by 7 republican appointed Supreme Court members and only 2 Democratic appointees by a vote of 7-2 in favor of Rowe -Wade . Ever since the majority almost always has still been Republican appointees . Rowe -Wade still lives . Instead of persecuting women , it would be fair to persecute men for vasectomies then . There is no end to the GOP unscrupulousness only for the rich .

This whole thing about supporters showing up all over the US at Biden swearing to stir up trouble in was nothing but a media blitz, to insight panic and to attempt to make a story. It failed. And of note, The Narcissistic man is gone, hopefully forever. .
