Miss Flagler Pageant Contestants, Ages 16-23

The Miss Flagler County Pageants are scheduled for Sunday, June 23, 2013, at the Flagler Auditorium. Pageants begin with Little Miss Flagler (ages 5-11) at 3 p.m., followed by Miss Junior Flagler County (ages 12-15) at 5 p.m. and the Miss Flagler County Scholarship Pageant (ages 16-23) at 7 p.m. Tickets for admittance to all four shows are $10 per adult, $5 per student (with ID), and $3 for children under 10 at the Flagler Auditorium box office: 386/437-7547 or toll-free 1-866-FLAGLER (352-4537) or at the auditorium’s website. The Miss Flagler County Pageants are directed by Elizabeth McLaughlin and Zoee Forehand and sponsored by Flagler Beach’s Z Wave Surf Shop. They can be reached at 386/439-9283.

Alexandra Mason
Alexandra is 19 years old with brown hair and green eyes. She is 5 feet 7 inches tall and is the daughter of Angela Decarlo of Palm Coast. She will be a freshman at Daytona State College in the fall.

Alexandra is sponsored by Precious Angels Learning Center. She enjoys spending time with her family, taking care of her dogs and walking on the beach. After gettting her AA at Daytona State College, Alexandra plans on attending the University of Central Florida and graduating with a degree in criminal justice. Ultimately, she would like to work for the FBI.

 

Cayla Moremen

Cayla Moremen
Cayla is 22 years old with blonde hair and brown eyes and stands at 5 feet 4 inches tall. She is the daughter of Randy and Jan English and George and Susan Moreman.

Cayla is sponsored by Beachhouse Beanery Café. She loves cooking, crafting and relaxing on the beach. She is a born and raised Florida girl, enjoys animals, nature and the sea, and volunteering for Surfer’s for Autism and Veganfest. Cayla’s ultimate goal is to own a local small business where she can share her passions with the her community.

 

Kerry Norberg

Kerry Norberg
Kerry is the daughter of Drew and Ginger Norberg of Palm Coast. She is 17 years old and 5 feet 2 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. This year she will be a senior at Flagler Palm Coast High School where she is a member on the National Honor Society and the Future Problem Solvers.

Kerry is sponsored by Gotcha Covered Protection. She enjoys going to the beach, reading and spending time with her family. Kerry is also a member of the Future Farmers of America. She plans to obtain her International Baccalaureate diploma and go on to attend the University of Florida and major in biochemistry. Kerry wishes to attend medical school and become a pediatric rheumatologist.

 

Tara Norberg

Tara Norberg
Tara is the daughter of Drew and Ginger Norberg of palm coast. She is 16 years old and 5 feet 2 inches tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. This august, she will be a junior at Flagler Palm Coast High School where she serves as a parliamentarian for Future Farmers of America.

Tara is sponsored by Palm West Home Realty. She enjoys reading, going to the beach and tumbling. Tara is also a member of the Future Problem Solving Club and Junior Medical Reserve Corps at her school. In the future, Tara plans to graduate high school with her International Baccalaureate diploma and attend Florida State University to get her PHD in biochemistry.

Jordan Patin
Jordan is 17 years old with brown hair and blue eyes and stands 5 feet 9 inches tall. She is the daughter of Bill and Rachael patin of Palm Coast. This year Jordan will be a senior at Flagler Palm Coast High School where she is dual enrolled.

Jordan is sponsored by Coquina Real Estate and Construction. She loves journaling, volunteering and exploring new places. She is also active in volleyball and softball at her school, as well as an intern at the Flagler Auditorium. Jordan aspires to continue school and obtain her master’s degree in psychology.

Riley Shugg

Riley Shugg
Riley is the 20 year old daughter of Greg and Kim Shugg of Flagler Beach. She has blond hair and green eyes and stands 5 feet 4 inches tall. Riley will be a junior this year at Auburn University where she is studying animal science in a pre-vet program.

Riley is sponsored by Coastal Cabinets she enjoys running, surfing and photography. She is currently an intern at the Central Florida Zoo. In the future, Riley plans to graduate from Auburn University with a degree in animal science and go on to attend at the University of Florida’s vet school. Her ultimate career goal is to work in marine animal medicine and research.
