Flagler County Education Foundation
9th Annual Mardi Gras & Casino Night

January 27, 2012 | FlaglerLive | Leave a Comment

Flagler County Education Foundation will host their annual fundraising event – Mardi Gras, on February 21 at 6:30 pm at the Hammock Dunes Club in Palm Coast. Tickets are $75 per person.

In the true spirit of New Orleans, guests will don their finest festive attire, masks, and beads and dine on southern cuisine to celebrate the 9th Annual Mardi Gras & Casino Night.  Guests exchange “gaming bucks” for chips to be used at the various game tables.  Chips will be “cashed in” for the chance to win fabulous prizes.  Table seating and complimentary valet parking will compliment the evening.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Flagler County Schools students.  Students receive school supplies through the foundation’s Packs 4 Backs and STUFF Bus programs, enhanced classroom learning through Dell Trayer Teacher Grants and the opportunity to win four-year college scholarships through Take Stock for Children.  The foundation supports the district’s goal for 100% of its students to earn a high school diploma. The foundation is a 501-c-3 and depends on community support to operate its programs.
