Wild Bill Walker, a veteran of Alabama’s Red Thunder Air Show Team, was 58 when his plane crashed Saturday. Fellow pilots paid tribute to him today at the Wings Over Flagler air show, which ended on a sober, sunny roar of flights into the blue.

The Yak 52 went down at 4:27 p.m. while in the middle of a maneuver with another plane. The pilot was killed.
