Tricia A. James, 22, of Ormond Beach, was killed at 1 a.m. Thursday in a head-on collision in Palm Coast as she drove on Pine Lakes Parkway. Her car collided with an SUV driven by James J. Rumph of Palm Coast. Rumph, 18, is recovering from serious injuries at Florida Hospital Flagler.

A man was hospitalized with minor injuries after his SUV struck a Flagler County Sheriff’s deputy’s cruiser at Palm Coast Parkway and Pine Lakes Parkway at 10 a.m. Thursday. The deputy, James Gore, was not injured.

Less than 24 hours after a Flagler County School bus was rear-ended on State Road 100, another school bus was rear-ended by a pick-up truck on Pine Lakes Parkway in Palm Coast at 4 p.m. Friday afternoon, sending a teacher’s aide to a local clinic. No students were on the bus.

A two-vehicle wreck involving Amber Bowser, 18, and Kimberly A. Dixon, 40, both of Palm Coast, interrupted the southbound traffic on Pine Lakes Parkway for about two hours this morning after Dixon ignored a stop sign. Both were hospitalized.
