Gary R. Rahme, a 59-year-old one-time felon and resident of Daytona North, was arrested on a charge of armed bank robbery at an Ameris Bank July 12 on U.S. 1, just south of St. Augustine, where he took $13,000.

Kevin Cotterman, the 42-year-old serial bank robber who stole $805 from the Palm Coast Bank of America branch on Palm Coast Parkway in May 2012, was sentenced today (Oct. 8) to 15 years in prison, with no possibility of parole, by Flagler County Circuit Judge J. David Walsh.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office reports that a black male, about 5 feet, 4 inches tall, entered the Wells Fargo bank, brandished a handgun and demanded money. He was described as wearing a tan jump suit, an Ironman Mask, tan boots, gloves and a red and black backpack.
