Flagler County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking the public’s help in solving the stabbing death of Dennie Keith Cayton, 60, whose body was found the afternoon of January 11, 2013 in a marsh area behind the home he was staying in at 16 Covington Lane in Palm Coast.

Cayton was not married, and at the time of his death, he was unemployed. He had periodically libved at the house behind which he was found. Detectives believe someone in the community has information about Cayton’s murder. Detectives are asking for the public’s help in solving this case. No motive for the killing has been established.

Cayton’s death was ruled a homicide after an autopsy by the Medical Examiner’s Office for the 23rd District. Identification of Cayton’s decomposed remains was delayed several months, as detectives awaited the results of an examination conducted by the Anthropology Section of the University of Florida for Osteological Examination.

The homicide was one of three recorded last year in Flagler County, though Cayton is believed to have been killed around Christmas 2012.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Detective Nate Koep at 386/586-4841 or call Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida, toll-free, at (888) 277-TIPS. Tipsters who provide information to Crime Stoppers will remain anonymous and can qualify for a reward of up to $5,000.

Reopen the Kevin Henderson, his wife and 12 year old daughter in educated family do not commit suicide tiding plastic bags over their heads! Specially heads of a family that were for so many years community benefactors, like the Henderson’s.
