Walk for Jennifer Barnett, May 11 in Flagler Beach
FlaglerLive | April 28, 2013
Rochelle Stone writes: “My friend Jennifer Barnett suffered from a brain stem stroke on February 4th. She has two young boys. She used to live in Flaler County, she was a teacher at Mantazas High School and Princess Place. I am having a walk for her on May 11th across from the Flagler Beach water tower.”
The event is free, accepting donations only. There will be a raffle that will take place at the walk. Tickets are $5 or five tickets for $20. Her husband and son will be at the event. “It is a great way to get the word out for the signs of a stroke,” Stone writes. “Jennifer is only 28 and normally you would think of stroke victims of an older age, but not in this case, nor many others.”
