Nah, all you complainers should be protected. I just hope they drive slower to your house. Maybe, stop for a few possums and maybe a 3 legged, blind gopher tortoise or two while getting to you whining, complainers dilemma. Get a life. Go complain about a real problem. Frank, when I saw the headline my psyche went into revolt. Glad I won’t be seeing any in grocery stores. I had quite a few snails in my garden in GA. My neighbour told me to pour beer into shallow containers and place them around. Beer either poisons them, or cause them to drown while under the influence. I’m not a fan of pesticides so this worked for me.

1. Tell your kid to stop speeding and look at signs, it’s the law. 2. What time did the great kid get pulled over? 3. You do realize that all the cars could have been in the area at the same time and they stepped out together. 4. It’s possible that your son drives a vehicle driven by another possible suspect and they were taking precautions. 5. You may not know your son that well or the people he hangs with. 6. A K9 could be a supervisor that particular moment so try not to get scared of the doggy. 7. Maybe you just complain a lot. 8. I’ll trust officer’s judgement and suspicion over a parent’s thought on their kid any day of the week…you see them at home, police see them everywhere else. 9. All criminals are ‘somebodys son’. 10. Wah, grow up.

Mike, never let the dark of ignorance shutter away the light you carry along with your brothers…no words will ever take away or tarnish the daily sacrifice you and others worldwide endure to serve your fellow man. There will always be that segemnt of society incapable of seeing that sacrifice…do not give them a moment’s pause or entertain their narcissism….all are worth your time, but few will truly understand, or appreciate, the effort.

The stormwater fee of $96 a year that is on our utility bill will be eliminated and the fee will be based on our electric bills. Some of us will pay about the same, some will pay more, depending on usage. I don’t know how it works or those on FPL budget plan. Also, EVERYBODY will pay into it, whereas everybody doesn’t right now.

I keep hearing people have no money—granted some don’t, but everywhere I go I see full eating places, people running around with smart phones, i pads and pods,etc. and a lot of other electrical gadgets people must have. This all cost money, where does it come from if they “have no money”

As far as eliminating the 1/2 sales tax—-for every $2.00 spent we will “save a penny? Wow, I”ll be rich in no time! Now, all those pennies will add up to help the county and cities. Also, sales tax money is contributed by visitors, tourists, that purchase things here in Flagler county. I would rather keep the tax the way it is and collect sales tax money from “outsiders”, therefore sharing the burden, than eliminate it and face the possibility of even higher taxes that won’t be contributed to by anyone else.

I dont think most people are objecting to honoring Frankie. What they are objecting to is the hoopla and the resourses being used. He would be equally honored, if not nore, if those folks honored him on their own dime and on their own time!
And what’s with the sniping at fire fighters? Are they any less worthy of honor than cops?

Wow! Thanks FlaglerLive, this was a great show with lots of amazing photographs, I’m honored you featured one of mine. Just a note, that dragonfly isn’t carrying anything in the shot, it’s resting on a tiny branch between flights.
