Flagler County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying two individuals who are responsible for several larcenies of activated prepaid Visa credit cards that occurred Wednesday in Palm Coast.

The suspects entered various Kangaroo Express stores and requested to purchase a $500 prepaid Visa credit card at each location. The suspects would then distract the clerk and replaced the activated card with an inactive card while the clerk was not looking. The suspects took the active card and left the store without paying for it.

The investigation revealed the suspects left the stores in a black Dodge Charger possibly being driven by a third suspect.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact Detective Eric Glasgow at 386-586-4875 regarding case 2014-82446. Or call Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida, toll-free at (888) 277-TIPS. You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.

Excellent disguise……get a mask made of yourself! But wouldn’t that make it easier for them to catch you?

  2. JoJo says:

A perfect example of “Crime pays” literally.

  3. MaryJo says:

Aren’t they able to tell when the cards are used? I would think so since you don’t have to use the whole thing at once and they have to keep a ‘running’ balance on it. Although I guess these guys will just sell the cards at a ‘discounted’ price .

  4. Bunnell Resident says:

The police are being racists for showing these pictures. They could have fuzzed out their faces or something so as not to embarrass the families….

    • Flagler resident says:

Your comment is hilarious? Embarrass the families? They should have been embarrassed at birth, not by the cops showing the picture of flaglers scum, nice 20,000 car they drive off in, guess they stole that also.
There where and are plenty of ways to be racist about this situation. Hmmmmm

    • BeachBum says:

      Are you serious ??

    • ellen says:

Bunnell..You must play the race card with everything, there looking for criminals who steal. Instead of working like the law abiding citizens.

    • Meeee says:

Really? Hello??!!! They want to arrest these guys!!! Nobody is being racist!!! A couple of months ago a white guy was stealing from people’s mailboxes and they showed his face. Wake up please

    • Michael says:

@ Bunnell, They are trying to get help identifying suspects, it is not being racist if the criminals at hand are black, you need to stop being a racisit yourself.

    • Outsider says:

When I read this comment, I was certain it was a joke; perhaps in reference to the video of Michael Brown robbing a convenience store shortly before he was shot. Afterwards, people claimed it was an effort to ruin his character, which he obviously did pretty well on his own. After reading the other comments I am wondering if you were serious. Please tell me you were not.

Bunnell Resident….what planet did you just arrive from? When being asked for ‘the Public’s help’, it’s pretty obvious there would be a need to actually SHOW the faces of those involved in order to discover their IDENTITIES! Embarrass the families…..REALLY!?!?!! How about the family members call the police and turn in these thieves!?

  6. teacher says:

    bunnell resident:
the whole point is to identify and catch these thieves, you should look up the definition of a racist. I hope they get caught this way they’ll stop embarrassing their families.

  7. THE VOICE OF REASON says:

I ran a chain of convenience stores in West Texas for awhile and I can tell you that the first thing that would have happened in the aftermath of something like this would have been, of course, the police report.

The second thing would be the firing of the clerk who activated a card for $500 without having received $500.

  8. Bunnell Resident says:

Everyone, can you not detect and appreciate sarcastic humor? Had a white cop shot these guys we would have another Ferguson, MO on our hands. Instead of being criminals on the loose they would have been misunderstood victims…..

    • The Geode says:

A white cop just shot a Black guy a few weeks ago DIRECTLY after the incident in MO and I didn’t see any rioting, pillaging or plundering in Flagler County. First, I thought you WERE trying to be sarcastic – after reading your last comment, I KNOW you are bigoted towards Blacks. I won’t use the term “racist” because I feel that only people who can affect other people or have a semblance of authority has the power to be “racist”. I have no fear of those on my level or below me being “racist”. (especially those who can only speak from hate)
