Kimberly Turner, 2011 Employee of the Year: Bunnell Elementary
FlaglerLive | January 13, 2011
I was born and raised in Florida. I grew up in the Daytona Beach area. I moved to Flagler County in 1986. I met my husband Jeff in 1989 and we married in 1992. We have been married for 18 years and we have two wonderful children. Our daughter Emily is a freshman at FPC and our son Clay is in the 5th grade at Bunnell Elementary School. I started working at Bunnell Elementary School six years ago helping in the classrooms and also in the office. I soon became the attendance clerk and then the registrar. I remained the registrar for two years and currently am the guidance secretary. One of my many duties as the guidance secretary is scheduling all of our IEP meetings. I have learned a tremendous amount about ESE and really enjoy being a part of the process with parents whose children have learning disabilities; ESE is very near and dear to my heart. I am indebted to Mrs. Pearson for giving me my start at Bunnell and I know God had a plan and knew that ESE is where I was meant to be.
