Maureen Stowell
I have been an Early Education Teacher for 25 years since I opened my Family Child Care Business in Houston, Texas in 1984. I love children and wanted them to grow up with a positive sense of self worth, confidence, and courage to meet their goals. I knew I wanted young children to learn to communicate and use critical thinking skills to broaden their horizons. When I came to Flagler Adult Education
and started teaching adults methods to teach young children, I knew I had a huge job to help these teachers make the connections between the materials taught in the classroom and the execution of their job as Early Education Teachers. I love my job and l learn every time I teach. Learning is the connection that keeps us young and alive.
